Happy Mothers Day & Getting to know YOU Sunday!!

First of all Happy Mothers day to all you mommies and mommies-to-be out there!  I hope everyone has wonderful plans to be with the ones they love all day.  I will be taking my Emma girl to my aunts house where my entire dads side (minus our California loves) of the family will be.  We will also be celebrating my cousins 15th and brothers 23rd (Yikes that was weird to write) birthdays!  Then, this evening Emma and I will be coming home to the hunnie (booo to him having to work today) and his mother and brother will be coming over for a nice Bar-Be-Que (on our new grill!!)  I was busy last night baking some angel food cake (to go with a yogurt dip and strawberries & bananas) and a chocolate cake for todays festivities!  Just call me Martha!

Before moving on I just wanted to say how grateful I am to have such an amazing mother and role model, and on this day every year I am reminded of how much she does for my entire family.  She always has the best advise and everyone knows they can go to her if they need ANYTHING!  I love you mom and would be lost without you!

This week’s Questions & my Answers....

1. What has been your most memorable Mother's Day? (with your mom, as a mom, or with your wife)

Due to my LACK of long term memory (pretty much the worst thing EVER!) I would have to say I don’t have a most memorable one, but they have definitely changed since becoming pregnant and then having a babe of my own last year and this year!

2. Have you ever been pulled over for speeding and were you able to talk your way out of it?

Yes I have been pulled over exactly twice, and the first time I was a crying/sobbing mess and was give a $275 ticket (campus police are the WORST) and the second time I had Emma in the car and he let me go.  My hubs is a copper and last year he wrote the second most amount of tickets in his department, so avoid car #17 if you ever come to my town haha!

3. What's the oldest thing you have hanging in your closet?

I am a big fan of going through my stuff once a year and donating anything I haven’t worn all year and my weight has fluctuated so much over the past 5 years so I don’t have tooo many old things, but I do love my short jean skirt that I intend on wearing to Country fest this year!  So that’s what I will go with.

4. Do you whiten your teeth?

I have tried the teeth whiteners before and I think they actually do a pretty good job, but I got lazy and haven’t done them in years.

5. Underwear or Panties.  What do you call your "unmentionables"?

OH MYLANTA, I mean word, I DESPISE the word panties, ick, it freeeeaks meeee ouuuut.  Not even sure why!  It may sound dorky, but I call them my underwear haha!

6. If you could go on vacation right now.today. Where would you go?

Honestly, with this huge belly I have to say vacationing on a beach isn’t even that attractive!  But, if I was sans belly, then stick in the Carribean/Mexico/ANYWHERE and I would be the happiest.girl.in.the.world!

7. Do you get offended when people cuss on their blogs?

It is really VERY hard to offend me.  My family is pretty nonchalant about our language, so I find no problem in it.  Sometimes cussing just conveys a message differently/better, I personally try not to unless necessary!

8. If you had to give up one luxury item, it would be....?

Not even sure what would classify as a luxury item, and to be honest I am not so luxurious since Emma was born a year and a half ago!!  Don’t get me wrong, stick me in a nice luxury car, designer jeans, bag, clothing, some fabulous makeup and hair and I would be IN HEAVEN, but those days might be on hold for awhile!
